I first laid eyes on one of these one Saturday afternoon when a neighborhood boy, Tony W****** wandered into my yard with one that his dad had just purchased for him. Having never seen one before, I was instantly intrigued. Once he showed me how it worked, I decided I could not live without one. I tried for probably an hour to talk him into trading me or letting me buy it from him but he wouldn't budge. Given the fact that it was brand new, and a gift from his dad who did not live with his family because of divorce, I'm not sure why I thought that he would but the heart wants what the heart wants so I had to try. LOLA few days later, I found one at a local store and my mom bought it for me. I loved that silly little thing. It was basically just a spinning top - nothing terribly creative, but I thought it was great fun just the same.
