The grocery chain of choice in our area for years and years. I don't know why but I really miss the original one that was up on CA Parkway. I wish it were still there, in business, and just the way it was when I was a kid. This picture of the old signs reminds me of sweet, lazy summer days spent hanging out with my sweet mama. Precious, simple, good times.It also reminds me of the time I went grocery shopping with Bernie and his wife, L. and he called some asian kid a slanty-eyed little bastard but that's another story altogether.
