I Love You This Much Statue
Statues were big in the 60's and 70's. I'm not sure why. It was just part of the hippie culture. This specific statue was the most popular of all. I think every teenager in America had one. The company that made this one, also had similar ones with other slogans, including some that were inappropriate. Any kid whose older sibling had one of the "dirty" ones, always snuck his/her friends in when big brother/sister was out so they could see it. We younger ones thought such things to be a very big deal. LOL Major tattle news. LOL
Still, for years, the one in this picture remained the most popular by far. They were not only in every American home, but also in every retail store, grocery store, roadside handy stop, carnival, and fair. They were everywhere.
