Nerf Basketball
The original game had no backboard and you had to attach it via suction cups. They didn't stick well to just anything, which was a major pain. They eventually got smart and incorporated a backboard and over-the-door bracket so that it could hang over the door, which worked much, much better.
My all-time favorite indoor basketball game wasn't a nerf at all. I wish I could find a picture of it because I loved that thing and it was super fun. It was a hard plastic goal that went over the door. Instead of a nerf, the ball was a slightly larger, inflatable basketball. I used to spend hours playing with that thing. I got it when I was in the 7th grade but I hung onto it and played with it for many years afterwards. In fact, when Prince Kit and I married, it hung in our first apartment. Sadly, it got lost when we moved a few years later. I miss it, both for the sentimental value it held for me, and, for the fun it always provided. That basketball game may have been my all-time favorite toy-related gift from my teen years.
