Little Helper Toys

I loved all of my household cleaning and cooking toys. Most of them looked exactly like their real counterparts so playing with them was great fun. I had all of these and then some and I spent countless hours pretending to do all the things I had seen my mom do. Playing "house" was one of my very favorite things to do as a kid. But it was a scam, you know. They make you believe that emulating your mom working her fingers to the bone around the house makes you look very cool and grown up so you'll want to do it yourself. That's how they keep recruiting woman slaves.  I didn't fall for it. I had a big time when I was a kid but now that I'm an adult, I stay out of the kitchen. I'll never be one of those dutiful wives who spends all Christmas morning cooking and then, all Christmas night cleaning. What a crock! In our house, if mama can't sit down and watch t.v. after dinner, then NOBODY can sit down and watch t.v. after dinner. That's just how this predominantly female household rolls!  LOL
