Electric Football
My brother had one of these and he could spend hours playing with it. Sometimes when he was away at school, I would play with it but I never enjoyed it nearly as much as he did. It was just too slow for my taste. It was just a simple metal board with some sort of vibrating mechanism inside that shook the little plastic pieces enough to cause slight movement. The football was a tiny rolled piece of cotton. LOL Bernie loved it. I was understimulated and underwhelmed. LOL
Still, I still get nostalgic when I see one of these because it takes me back to those innocent days when I could walk by Bernie's room and see sitting on his bed, focused and completely lost in an imaginary game of low-tech electronic football. Those were sweet times. Childhood should be a place we can go back and visit anytime the adult world gets too dark and heavy. How great would that be?
Bernie
*sidenote: Mom, Bernie, and I all had a leopard print outfit. Mine and mom's were identical because she made them. I think she bought Bernie's shirt. I am not much of an animal print kind of girl but I remember that outfit and the wonderful way I felt when my mom would take my hand and lead me around downtown as her mini me. Hopefully Bernie enjoyed that, too. Priceless times. Priceless. Our mom is the sweetest, most precious mom to ever walk this earth. That's indisputable.
